Žyma: eTwinning Project

    The project “MAY THE SUN OF THIS LAND SCATTER ALL THE GLOOM AND DARK…” is gaining more momentum every day.  What is actually going on inside the workshops of the project, what are the daily activities of everyone wanting to become the guests of the 100th anniversary of the Independence of Lithuania?

      The constant rain and rare glimpses of sunshine had nothing to do with the origin of the Project name that started at the end of 2017 and will end at the beginning of 2018.

     We borrowed the name for our project from the National Anthem which flutters our hearts and invited all those wishing to join the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Independence of Lithuania.

     While looking for our project partners and competition participants, we appealed to you just like that: “We are looking for birthday guests”. Knowing that everyone would want to give something as a gift, we asked the guests to bring us the sun. We explicitly stated that drawings and pictures and pictures are not accepted due to the fact they can be easily be found on the internet. Throughout the month of December, members of the international eTwinning project and participants of the competition from various Lithuanian educational institutions produced suns… a lot of suns. The first works reached us just before Christmas. The suns have to be presented to us until January 15th, therefore, it is of no surprise that following the start of the New Year, the doors of Klaipeda Litorina School have been constantly opened by the postman and people from Klaipeda – representatives of various educational institutions who present us their exhibits. Therefore, on the grey, rainy and gloomy days, our school is getting brighter and warmer.

     This warmth is also accompanied by inspirational letters in which the partners of the eTwinning project share updates regarding notifications on their sent works. The right hand of my project – Vida Petraitienė, the teacher of the Jurbarkas school “Ąžuoliukas“, shared a picture of seven suns which was sent to Klaipeda on January 4th.

     Friends from Ireland sent their sun before the holidays. Because they tried to comment on each of their activities… in Lithuanian language! We are especially eager to receive their work. Judging by their pictures, the Lithuanian words will be on the sun that they produced themselves.

We were touched by the Ukrainians – students of the Kalush Gymnasium and their teacher Vitalij Pivtorak, they shared a reportage on social networks on the sun sent to us and the fact that in February they will join the singing of the National Anthem and that they are very pleased and thankful for the chance to participate in the birthday of Lithuania!

     Not only will the sun scatter all the gloom and dark. But because kindergartens as well as the pupils and representatives of professional studies joined the Lithuanian birthday party, the sincere friendship between the people of different ages and from different nations will also scatter the gloom and dark.

Projektas „TEGUL SAULĖ LIETUVOJ TAMSUMAS PRAŠALINA…“ įgauna vis didesnį pagreitį. Kas gi vyksta projekto dirbtuvėse, kuo gyvena visi, panorę tapti Lietuvos nepriklausomybės šimtmečio šventės svečiais?

     Šitoks 2017 metų pabaigos–2018 metų pradžios projekto pavadinimas atsirado ne dėl to, kad Lietuvoje pastaruoju metu nuolat lyja ir vis rečiau pasirodo saulė. Projektui pavadinimą pasiskolinome iš mūsų visų širdis virpinančios Tautiškos giesmės ir pakvietėme visus norinčius prisijungti prie mūsų šalies nepriklausomybės šimtmečio paminėjimo.

     Ieškodami projekto partnerių ir konkurso dalyvių, taip ir kreipėmės: „Ieškome gimtadienio svečių“. Žinodami, kad visi norės jubiliatui kažką padovanoti, svečių paprašėme atnešti mums po saulę. Tik perspėjome, kad piešinių ir nuotraukų nenorime, nes jų – pilnas internetas.

     Visą gruodį tarptautinio eTwinning projekto nariai ir į konkursą atsiliepę dalyviai iš įvairių Lietuvos ugdymo įstaigų gamino saules, saulutes, saulytes… Pirmieji darbeliai mus pasiekė prieš Kalėdas. Kadangi saulių pristatymo laikas baigiasi sausio 15 dieną, nekeista, kad nuo Naujųjų metų Klaipėdos Litorinos mokyklos duris nuolat varstė siuntas pristatantys pašto darbuotojai ir eksponatus nešantys klaipėdiečiai – įvairių ugdymo įstaigų atstovai. Tad pilkomis, lietingomis ir niūriomis dienomis mūsų mokykloje darosi vis šviesiau ir šilčiau.

     Šilumos prideda ir įkvepiantys laiškai, kuriuose eTwinning projekto partneriai dalijasi pranešimais apie paštui perduotus darbelius. Štai mano projekto dešinioji ranka, Jurbarko mokyklos „Ąžuoliukas“ auklėtoja Vida Petraitienė pasidalino net septynių saulučių, išsiųstų į Klaipėdą sausio 4 dieną, nuotrauka. Draugai iš Airijos saulę išsiuntė prieš didžiąsias šventes. Nekantraujame sulaukti jų darbelio, kadangi airiai kiekvieną savo veiklą stengėsi pakomentuoti… lietuvių kalba! Sprendžiant iš nuotraukų, lietuviškų žodžių bus ir ant jų pagamintos saulės. Sujaudino ukrainiečiai – Kalush gimnazijos mokiniai ir jų mokytojas Vitalij Pivtorak, pasidalinę socialiniuose tinkluose reportažu apie mums siunčiamą saulytę, apie tai, kad vasario mėnesį jie prisijungs prie Tautiškos giesmės giedojimo ir apie tai, kad jiems labai gera dalyvauti Lietuvos gimtadienyje!

     Ne tik saulė tamsumas prašalins. Jas nugins ir projekto metu užsimezgusi nuoširdi draugystė su įvairių tautų ir dar įvairesnio amžiaus žmonėmis, kadangi prie Lietuvos gimtadienio šventės prisijungė ir darželinukai, ir mokiniai, ir profesinių studijų atstovai.
